The FR-N9X / X-N9X is a refreshed version of the FR-N9. Compared with its predecessor the FR-N9 it loses an RCA input, but gains a 3.5mm line in and line out on the front panel. Sold exclusively in Japan with large, front bass ported wood-grain veneer D-N9X speakers, and full integration with other Onkyo RI-compatible components. One such component is the iPod adapter “RI Dock” (DS-A1 / direct sales 8,400 yen), you can transmit the playback sound of the iPod, You will be able to perform basic operations of the iPod with the remote control.
