Features: Panasonic's first NetMD portable. Includes Panasonic's “H.D.E.S” audio compression. The unit includes docking stand and small (3cm diameter titanium cone) neodymium magnet “full range” speakers (a concept introduced on the Panasonic SJ-MJ50).
The Docking stand (“multi-cradle”) incorporates NetMD PC connection, charging function (unit can be used while charging), and titling/editing keypad (titling interface based upon cellphone alpha input procedure). Capable of displaying kanji titles on LCDs of main body and remote. Remote features “one finger” control, 4 step battery level display. Divide rehearsal mode in 60ms steps. CD one-track record (record track and pause), recording level control, synchro-record, 2-step S-XBS (bass boost) and auto track-mark (3/5/10? minute) functions. Sampling rate convertor. Play modes: repeat 1/all, shuffle. Ships with BeatJam (Justsystem Inc) OpenMG compliant software for audio downloading and control of the portable. MDLP and group functions.
