Features: MDLP modes, 3-mode digital X-bass system, Digital rec-level control. A gumstick battery for internal power (avoids a thicker/bulging case like those with AA batteries instead). MD-MT170/180 has no remote or microphone input. The MD-MT200 has a “Dolby H” button.
Variants: MD-MT170 and MD-MT180 seem identical in function. MD-MT190 and MD-MT200 come with non-LCD remote. MD-MT200 has Dolby surround DSP mode. A MD-MT190W and MD-MT200W model appeared on Sharp's Singapore website.
