Brand : Sony
Compact Type-R deck specifically for connecting to a PC. Note that this device is NOT netMD, it uses the PCLK-MN10 PC Link kit to connect. Provided driver CD supports both Windows 98 and Windows 2000, unknown if the 64-bit drivers will work on it. Is equipped with SF Edit
Compared with the predecessors, the MDS-PC1 and PC2, the PC3 shipped with M-Crew software which adds functionality for recording files directly from a computer. However, because the PC3 swaps from Control-A1II to the DIN port, it's unknown if the version of M-Crew bundled with this machine can coordinate CD → MD dubbing directly, as can be done with Control-A1II based control kits or combo decks and bookshelf stereos such as the MXD-D5C and CMT-M333NT/M373NT.
Came with RM-D52M remote.
