Brand : Sony
Offered in Silver and Gold. Top of the line Hi-MD recorder. One of the first devices to be released, was launched alongside the MZ-NH3D, MZ-EH1, and LAM-X1.
Uses the LIP-4WM battery which is no longer available. Most OEM version have long since lost most of their capacity or even their ability to recharge, meaning the battery must be rebuilt in order to get the best battery life.
Note that this device uses a unique USB cable made only for this device. They are rare and quite expensive, keep that in mind when searching for one to buy.
Works with web/platinum MD when writing normal MD discs, SonicStage must be used for Hi-MD discs.
