Victor XM-C35Y

This unit is a bit of a mystery. It seems to be an updated version of the Victor XM-C3, copying the faceplate design. The XM-C3 came in blue, green, and pink colors, sometimes brands would take a model lineup and release additional colors not mentioned in the press release. But this seems to have its own model# of CM-C35Y, the -D at the end is a common color descriptor meaning Orange. So the model# seems to be XM-C35Y as printed on the body, but no real mention can be found in Victor press releases or on the major news sites such as av.watch or phileweb.
Given that the XM-C3 was released 11/2003, the XM-C31 on 10/2004 and the XM-C37 on 02/2006 - the XM-C35Y was most likely released sometime in 2004/2005.
