Brand : Kenwood
The MDX-J9 is NetMD version of the MDX-G7 and MDX-J7.
The MDX-J7 is very similar to the MDX-G7 in that it doesn't support NetMD and can only be used as PC speakers, but it has upgraded 2-way speakers and can support Kanji and Chinese characters.
The MDX-J7 comes in two colors: silver (S) and green (G) whereas the MDX-J9 only comes in silver.
It has foldable speakers and an ultra-thin body with a depth of 51mm.
Successfully tested with WMD 6/2023 to write/edit discs.
Finding a replacement AC adapter can be tough since it's not a common voltage. The stock adapter is an 8V/1.2A charger.
The tip is a 4.8×1.7mm. If you can't find this exact type of adapter, I've had success sourcing an 8V/2A (the device will draw the 1.2A it needs) with a 5.5×2.1mm tip. I then used a tip adapter to go from the 5.5×2.1mm male to 4.8×1.7mm.
Note, because of how the speakers can fold in/out, a small right-angle adapter is the best choice.
