The SJ-MJ15 features a 193 hour battery life, which at the time, was the longest playback time in the world as of September 2002 in LP4 mode.
It has an LED indicator on body shows that blinks green in LP2 and blinks red in LP4 mode. Includes a backlit one-finger LCD remote control with a D-pad. Has a train setting to reduce sound leakage from headphones. Features “Introscan memory playback” that plays the first few seconds of each song. Compatible with Panasonic's “MD Network”.
Available in SJ-MJ15-S (Silver), SJ-MJ15-A (Blue), SJ-MJ15-P (Pink), SJ-MJ15-Y (Yellow)
Note: There was also a limited time “Jibun (ジブン) MD” or “My own MD” campaign to sell 101 different designs between October 1st to December 1st 2002. Various design themes were “teens pop, pop, street, techno, 50's/60's, relax, basic, standard.”
