Offered in SJ-MJ50-S (Silver), SJ-MJ50-A (Blue), SJ-MJ50-R (Red) and later SJ-MJ50-X (Carbon Black)
Features: MDLP and Group function support, anti-shock memory of 160 seconds in LP4 mode. Charging cradle is equipped with speakers. Slot-in loading mechanism with internal LED glow to help disc loading in low light conditions (?). Track scan plays only the first ten seconds of each track.
Supports Panasonic's “MD Network” functionality when used with the appropriate cable (RP-CAM9G15) allowing the automatic transfer of track titles when dubbing on Panasonic boomboxes/recorders that also support this feature.
