Compact deck intended for use with a PC. This device was prior to netMD, so it used the PCLK-MD2 pc-link kit to connect to a PC. Provided driver CD supports both Windows 98 and Windows 2000, unknown if the 64-bit drivers will work on it.
Updated version of the MDS-PC1. A further updated version using a newer generation of minidisc hardware with newer ATRAC codecs was also released, the MDS-PC3.
