E30/E50 guts, but with new loading mechanism. EP10 and EP11 are pretty much identical with just a slightly different exterior panel design.
Can load a either a single AA or a NiMH “Gumstick” into the battery compartment.
Slot-in design, rather than pop-out.

ATRAC IC: UPD63730GC-9EU - Shared with the MZ-E30 it does not contain an ATRAC encoder, making version identification difficult. Based on the MZ-R30 released around the same time as the E30 it is most likely an ATRAC v4.0 device
