Japan-only, player-only unit. Available in 4 colors (silver -S, orange/copper -D, pink -P, and blue -A.) All came with white remote.
Requires the remote to operate (2.5mm headphone jack w/Panasonic remote shroud.) Only buttons on the unit itself are on the back - play/pause and volume control.
Power input on the unit is proprietary, requires a charging dock to use a 3.5V center positive DC adapter. A battery sidecar doesn't attach to the unit, but plugs in to the proprietary port.
Claims 53 hours of LP4 battery playback with the gumstick, 130 with the sidecar, 193 with both in “Eco mode”. Charging dock part#: RFEB034G
