Features: ATRAC1 Type-R (IC: CXD2656R), 24 bit ADC (hybrid pulse) and DAC, digital recording level control (with fade in and fade out), 6 second time machine, Two-line display, pitch control. Control A1-II connectors (S-Link). Remote RM-D7M is smaller and with fewer buttons than previous JE5xx units, requiring multiple presses to enter a single character. Stereo/mono rec switch. Settable output level. FADER key on front panel and on remote. TOC-cloning possible.
Midlevel Sony Deck, Optical and Coax digital output as well as RCA, and Optical and RCA input. 6.35mm Headphone jack with volume control.
AutoPause function useful for live audio use (theatre, radio).
Successor to the popular MDS-JE520 in the same case design with similar features. Upgrades to ATRAC1 Type-R and adds a pitch control function.
